Manage your Shinny data
You’re in control. You can delete some of your data, all of it, or close your account entirely — whatever fits the situation.
What we mean by “your data”
When you use Shinny, we store a handful of things tied to your account:
- RSVPs — the games you said yes (or no) to
- Reviews — the ratings you left on rinks
- Check-ins — if you opted in, the rinks you visited and when
- Posted games — sessions you organized
- Announcements — if you’re a captain/coach/manager, the alerts you sent
- Profile — your display name, position, skill, home rinks, notification preferences

To manage your data yourself
The interactive deletion controls are on this page once you sign in. You can delete specific categories of data (RSVPs, reviews, check-ins, etc.) one at a time, or wipe everything and close the account in a single click.
If you can’t sign in
If you lost access to your email or otherwise can’t sign in, email us with the request from the email you used to sign up. We’ll verify and process it within 30 days.
